Using FaithFlow Digital Products

What You May Find Inside the Folder

Your ZIP file may include:

  • PDF Files

  • worksheets

  • journals

  • bonus resources

  • MP4 File

  • MP3 File

If you do not see the file right away, make sure you opened the new folder created after unzipping, not the original ZIP file.

What is a Fillable vs Editable

What’s the difference between “fillable” and “editable”?

Fillable PDF

A fillable PDF allows you to type directly into the journal or worksheet.

You can:
• type your responses into the pages
• save your progress
• print it if you prefer writing by hand

👉 The layout and design stay the same — you’re simply filling it in.

Editable Template

An editable template allows you to change the design, text, or layout.

This usually includes:
• Canva templates
• files meant for customization or resale
• the ability to move, delete, or redesign elements

What FaithFlow Products Include

All FaithFlow journals and resources are:

Printable
✔ Fillable (type directly into the pages)

They are not editable templates and are intended for personal use only.

📌 A Quick Note About Fillable Fields (Please Read)

Some PDF programs temporarily show a light highlight or shading over fillable fields while you are typing. This is a viewing preference controlled by the software, not the journal itself.

The highlight:
• does not affect your saved text
• does not appear when printing
• does not change the journal design

If you prefer a clean, paper-like writing experience, this highlight can be turned off.

For the Cleanest Experience (Recommended)

Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) allows you to completely turn off field highlighting.

How to Turn Off Field Highlighting:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader

  2. Go to Menu → Preferences

  3. Select Forms

  4. Uncheck “Show border hover color for fields”

Once turned off:
• Typed text looks like normal printed text
• No colored or gray overlay appears
• The page displays as designed

WHAT YOU NEED

Using a Computer (Recommended)

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (free)

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro (optional — not required)

This is the easiest and most reliable option for most users.

Using a Tablet

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (free)

  • PDFgear (free)

  • PDF Expert (paid)

Important note:
Some basic PDF viewers only show pages and do not allow typing.

You do not need special software or subscriptions to get started.

Note: Device behavior may vary slightly depending on operating system and PDF reader. For the most reliable experience, we recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader (free).

HOW TO START

How to Start Using Your Fillable Product

  1. Download the PDF to your device

  2. Open it in a PDF reader (not an internet browser)

  3. Click inside the boxes to type

  4. Save your progress as you go

Helpful tip:
Save one blank “master copy,” then duplicate it whenever you want to start fresh.

Using Links Inside Your Product

Some pages include clickable links that may open:

  • Worship music

  • Scripture references

  • Companion tools

  • Flipbooks or audio resources

Links work best when:

  • The file is opened in a PDF reader (not a browser)

  • You are connected to the internet

COMMON QUESTIONS

What devices can I use?

You can use FaithFlow fillable PDFs on:

• A desktop or laptop computer (Windows or Mac) — best experience
• A tablet using a PDF reader app (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader)
• Phones may open the file but are not recommended for typing

For the easiest experience, a computer or tablet works best.

What does “not an app” mean?

A fillable PDF:

  • Opens like a document

  • Lets you type

  • Must be saved manually

It works like a digital workbook, not a journaling app like Notion or GoodNotes.

Are Adobe programs the only option?

Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) is the most reliable and easiest choice.

Other PDF readers may work if they allow typing into forms, such as:

  • PDFgear (free)

  • Foxit PDF Reader

  • PDF Expert (paid — Apple only)

You do not need Adobe Pro.

What does “open in a PDF reader, not a browser” mean?

Internet browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) can show PDFs but often don’t allow editing.

To edit:

  • Download the file

  • Open it inside a PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader

What does “Fit Page” or “Single Page” mean?

These are viewing options that change how the page appears on your screen:

  • Fit Page shows the full page

  • Single Page shows one page at a time (best for journaling)

You’ll usually find these near the zoom buttons.

Just A Reminder

FaithFlow fillable journals and other products are designed to:

  • Support reflection, not rush

  • Encourage spiritual rhythm, not pressure

  • Keep your focus on faith — not technology

If digital journaling ever feels distracting, you are always free to return to pen and paper.

A Simple Summary
